The word yoga means union or to unite. Union of the breath to movement of the body, union of like-minded individuals, and union of the mind with the present moment.
Open to all levels, our weekly yoga class is limited to just 5 participants to providing individual attention in a more intimate, safe environment than your average yoga class.
It is designed to calm the mind, strengthen the body, release tension and stress, and help you find connection.
Incorporating breath work, vinyasa, yin practice, yoga nidras, and meditation our yoga class will leave you feeling full, peaceful and ready to take on life’s challenges.
Each week we will focus on different mind-body-spirit intentions such as relief of anxiety, awareness of the body, acceptance, and forgiveness.
The class is designed to create balance on and off the mat in order to create greater well being.
The more we practice on our mats, the more the benefits transition into our everyday lives.
Class lasts 60 minutes and is $35. You can also buy a 5-pack of classes for $150. Space is limited, so reserve your spot now by registering online.
Have you ever considered going to a yoga class? Have you experienced hesitation of going to a studio for your first time?
Are you an experienced yogi looking to deepen your practice? Did you recently have an injury and need assistance with modifications?
Whether you have never stepped foot on a yoga mat or are seasoned yogi we have a program for you! At the Lotus Center you will be paired with a Yoga Instructor that will tailor a yoga program to meet your specific needs and give you the personal attention that you deserve. Every body is different, so it’s important to know what works for you and what doesn’t. We begin with a postural assessment to uncover any opportunities for growth, along with a discussion in regards to your personal goals and what you hope to achieve from your one-on-one yoga experience. We take the time to get to know you, answer questions, and work with you to create your yoga practice together as a team.
While yoga becomes more widely known people are growing more aware of the benefits this ancient practice has to offer. Some of these include:
• Increased mobility
• Better posture/proper alignment
• Development of breath control
• Core strength
• Muscle strength and tone
And as the physical benefits are plenty, people have also found the mental and emotional benefits of yoga such as:
• Better sleep
• Weight management
• Inner peace
• Mental clarity
• Emotional release
• Reduced stress
• Ability to cope in difficult moments
With your individual plan we will target the areas of concern with continued support and guidance along the way. Despite the popular belief, yoga is not just about touching your toes! In fact the physical asana practice is just one part of yoga! Your plan may include meditation, mindfulness, energy flow, breath work, and self growth tools. Yoga can assist you in achieving your health goals as well as your personal goals.
Don’t buy the yoga hype? Try it for yourself! We are currently accepting new clients. Check out our schedule here. Another great thing about one-on-one yoga is that we schedule around you! Still not sure what all this yoga talk is all about? Give us a call with any questions! We’d be happy to help. After all, we believe yoga is for everybody🙂
