Lisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing mental health services at Lotus Center and also a Registered Yoga Teacher having completed a 200 hour teacher training as well as 300 hour of additional training in Yoga Therapy, a new field combining the best of mind/body/spirit wellness.
Lisa shares her unique skills and training for a fully safe and embodied experience for participants.

Yoga is more than just asanas (poses). Learn to align your body mind and spirit with this unique small group experience.

Join us to get your body-mind back into aligntment!
The word yoga means union or to unite. Union of the breath to movement of the body, union of like-minded individuals, and union of the mind with the present moment.
Open to all levels, our weekly yoga class is limited to just 5 participants to providing individual attention in a more intimate, safe environment than your average yoga class.
It is designed to calm the mind, strengthen the body, release tension and stress, and help you find connection.
Incorporating breath work, vinyasa, yin practice, yoga nidras, and meditation our yoga class will leave you feeling full, peaceful and ready to take on life’s challenges.
Each week we will focus on different mind-body-spirit intentions such as relief of anxiety, awareness of the body, acceptance, and forgiveness.
The class is designed to create balance on and off the mat in order to create greater well being.
The more we practice on our mats, the more the benefits transition into our everyday lives.

At the Lotus Center you will be paired with a Yoga Instructor that will tailor a yoga program to meet your specific needs and give you the personal attention that you deserve. Every body is different, so it’s important to know what works for you and what doesn’t. We begin with a postural assessment to uncover any opportunities for growth, along with a discussion in regards to your personal goals and what you hope to achieve from your one-on-one yoga experience. We take the time to get to know you, answer questions, and work with you to create your yoga practice together as a team.
While yoga becomes more widely known people are growing more aware of the benefits this ancient practice has to offer. Some of these include:
